Listen to your mind, but follow your intuition

Each time I have ignored my gut feeling to favor my "rational thinking", I have regretted it. Today, I tend to follow my instinct and intuition way more.

Yet, "listening" to what the rational mind has to say isn't a bad idea. Ideally, "intuitive and analytic thinking should occur together, and be weighed up against each other in difficult decision-making situations."
